Highlights from Year 3

In History, we have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians. We have learnt about the famous Pharoah Tutankhamun and his life. We learnt about his tomb and all the different artefacts he had in his tomb. We also learnt about the process of mummification which was very surprising to us all!

In Geography, our topic has been Shakes and Quakes which has been about earthquakes. We learnt about the Earth’s different layers and that Earth has tectonic plates which move around every year. We learnt how earthquakes and tsunamis happen and the effects they have.

In Computing, we learnt about Desktop Publishing and how we can use it to create many things like a poster, a newspaper or a postcard. We used laptops to have a go at using Adobe Express and all its features.

In Spanish, we have learnt about fruits. In RE, we have learnt about Sikhism and how sharing is important in their religion. We spoke about the importance of sharing and how it makes us feel.
